A measure of success

Your web site is all set up and ready to go. It's in the search engines, all your content has been uploaded, and you're ready to make your presence felt on the world wide web. The only problem is, how do you know whether anybody's visiting your site? And if they are, do you know how they're finding and using it? Are new prospects finding you online, or are only existing customers using your site?

It's not enough to know that you've got a professionally designed website that looks great and supports your business objectives. If nobody's looking at it, or if only your existing customers are using it, then it's not adding the value it could.

Measuring the success of a website and making any alterations to the site to ensure future success is fundamental to the Mango Blip way of working. That's why, as part of the price for designing and building your site, I will also maintain it for 2 months, carefully monitoring traffic levels, how customers are finding your site and what they're doing while they're there. I will make any alterations I feel are necessary based on the results - although I will never make a major change to your site without seeking your approval first.

To do this, I will create a Statcounter project for you, and generate weekly email reports to let you see how your site is performing; I will also provide you with your own account so you can login and view people visiting in real time (as well as being useful, it's great fun - and very gratifying - to see people visiting and using your site).

At the end of the 2 months, it's up to you how you proceed. I can turn the site over to you completely - including the facility to track your visitors - or you can pay me a monthly retainer to ensure your site is kept updated.
